I offer a blend of line and copy editing for manuscripts that are complete and structurally sound, but are in need of some help with flow, concision, and consistency. The focus here will be on ensuring your book makes sense grammatically, flows seamlessly from topic to topic, and says what it needs to say without unnecessary fluff. I make all my edits using Microsoft Word track changes, so you'll be able to see every edit, suggestion, and comment.

 

This service includes two rounds of edits, between which you'll have the chance to complete a review. Along with final edits, you'll receive a personalized style sheet that details the style and grammar rules I followed (in accordance with the latest edition of the Chicago Manual of Style) as well as a comprehensive account of the proper spelling and capitalization of proper nouns in your manuscript.  Most clients use this document to help them maintain consistency through subsequent rounds of editing.
